We put together a handy overview of the uPVC door options available at Eco Doors & Windows. Keep reading to learn more about our various door styles, what applications they can be used for and what benefits they can offer your rooms and home.

Door styles from Eco Doors & Windows

We have a range of door styles available for any situation. At Eco Doors & Windows, we understand the importance of finding the perfect door for your needs and will support you through the process!

Bifold doors

Bifold doors are a versatile option that improve the indoor-outdoor flow of your home. We have a range of sizes and configurations available, so whatever size you are looking for, you can find it at Eco Doors & Windows. They can come with three to six panels, where the main panel swings out like a normal door. It can also be pinned back to improve access to your home. The other panels fold and sit at 90 degrees to your home to give you excellent benefits. We often see bifold doors installed on exits to decks and gardens, where you have plenty of space on the exterior of the home.

Entrance doors

Entrance doors are the first thing that visitors see when coming to your home. Make a statement with the wide variety of uPVC front and back doors from Eco Doors & Windows, which come in a range of sizes, colours and configurations. Our entrance doors are hinged at the side and swing open easily. You can customise your entrance door with our team and can fit different shaped and sized glass in the structure to get you the look you are looking for. Invest in a unique and eco-efficient design from Eco Doors & Windows!

French doors

French doors are a very popular addition to New Zealand homes across the country and are an excellent choice for spaces that lead to patios and decks. This classic door option features two panels that open out from the middle. One panel has a handle that allows for locking and unlocking, while the other side opens with a lever that’s tucked away when the doors are closed. We have the traditional symmetrical option available but are also able to configure it asymmetrically, where one panel is larger than the other.

Smart Slide doors

Smart Slide doors are the newest sliding doors on the market and can often be found in modern homes and renovations. They can be made in a range of sizes and in large dimensions, up to 5.8m wide and 2.5m high, making them an excellent choice for any space in your home. They slide smoothly and close softly and are the easiest door option to operate at Eco Doors & Windows. They can have two panels, of which one panel is fixed and one slides, or four panels of which the outer two are fixed and the inner two slide to meet in the middle. With various locking options, including the door can only be opened from the inside, or the door can be opened from both sides, you can use a configuration that fits your needs.

Stacking sliding doors

The Stacking sliding doors from Eco Doors & Windows can open wider than other traditional options, and therefore allow for an excellent indoor-outdoor flow connecting the interior of your home to your garden or patio seamlessly. They are available in two configurations: one panel fixed and two sliding or all three panels sliding. As our Stacking sliding doors are rated for up to a high wind zone, you might want to invest in a higher performing option if you live in a windy place.

Standard sliding doors

Standard sliding doors are the most popular traditional option from Eco Doors & Windows that can be found in many homes across New Zealand. They have space-saving capabilities and improve the indoor-outdoor flow of your home. We often see Standard sliding doors installed in high-traffic areas due to their easy operation and simple access to the outdoors. Sliding doors are also known as ranch sliders and are often installed in homes that are put out to harsh environmental factors.

Tilt and slide doors

Tilt and slide doors are a versatile option that allow for ventilation, even when the doors are closed. Just like their name suggests, they work as a standard sliding door while also having the added function of working as a large window by tilting to open to a 100mm gap at the top. They keep your home safe and secure while you ventilate. Eco Doors & Windows regularly sees this type of door installed in homes that require ventilation often or have small children in the household. This versatile option can be an excellent addition to any New Zealand home!

Tilt and turn doors

Tilt and turn doors are another modern option that allow for ventilation while the door is closed. They open from the side like a standard hinged door but are also able to tilt inwards to leave a 100mm gap at the top. This door can be a great addition to a laundry or other rooms that are regularly used and need easy access to the outdoors, while also requiring ventilation at all times. Ensure your home gets the ventilation it needs while also keeping your household and assets safe with a Tilt and turn door!
