Awning windows are hinged at the top of the frame and open outwards. Eco Doors & Windows uses a special friction hinge to ensure the window stays at the specific angle that you want even upon release. They are also able to open fully with a gentle push.
Our awning windows open to approximately 70 degrees, but you can select to lock them at a 10mm gap (or 100mm with optional restrictor stays) to keep your house ventilated and safe even when you aren’t at home.
Our uPVC windows are fully airtight when closed, due to a double rubber making them an eco-efficient choice for any home. They are also very secure, as they come with a multi-point locking system that has at least two points of locking on each unit. The number of points depends on the specific size of the window.
